Luxembourg (Helvilux)— The non-profit organisation Stëmm vun der Strooss is urgently warning the public about fraudulent door-to-door fundraising attempts carried out in its name. The association stresses that it has never authorised any employee, volunteer or external individual to collect donations by visiting private homes.
In recent days, several residents have reported being approached by individuals claiming to represent Stëmm vun der Strooss and soliciting financial contributions. The organisation confirms that these actions are entirely fake and do not originate from them.
The association urges the public to remain vigilant:
If someone comes to your door asking for a donation on behalf of Stëmm vun der Strooss, do not hand over money or personal information. Instead, immediately contact the police.
Protecting the public from fraud also protects the reputation of the organisation and the vulnerable people it serves.’
Who They Really Are: A Pillar of Social Support in Luxembourg
While Stëmm vun der Strooss is currently dealing with the serious issue of impersonation, the association continues its long-standing mission to support the most vulnerable members of society. The organisation assists homeless individuals, the unemployed, people living on minimum wage, ex-prisoners, asylum seekers, migrants and those suffering from addiction.

A Crucial Reminder
At a time when the association is doing more than ever for Luxembourg’s most vulnerable residents, fraudulent fundraising risks damaging trust and disrupting vital services. Stëmm vun der Strooss repeats that no door-to-door collection is conducted by the organisation.
The public’s attentiveness ensures that the association can continue its indispensable mission: offering meals, medical help, clothing, hygiene facilities, housing support and professional reintegration to thousands of people in need every year.
If you would like to make a direct donation, your help truly makes a difference, the Stëmm can only exist thanks to people like you. Donations are tax-deductible in Luxembourg from €120 per year.
