Dudelange (Helvilux)- ADRenalin, the youth organisation of the ADR, held its 2026 National Congress on 7 February at the Drescherhaus in Dudelange. Under the slogan “For a Future with Common Sense”, delegates, guest speakers and elected officials gathered to discuss current political and societal challenges.
The congress featured several interventions by prominent figures from the ADR as well as European representatives. Alex Penning, member of the Council of State, highlighted the importance of competence as a key criterion for professional success. ADR party president Alexandra Schoos emphasised the courage of young people and encouraged their active participation in political life in order to strengthen real democracy.
ADR Secretary General Luc Reyter addressed the importance of freedom of expression and called attention to the need for reforms in this area. Member of the European Parliament Fernand Kartheiser underlined the significance of Western values, while MP Dan Hardy focused on security issues. Jang Modert, president of the Eastern district of the ADR, spoke about pension policy and criticised the government’s approach to the issue. The session concluded with a detailed analysis by parliamentary group leader Fred Keup on diversity of opinion within the media landscape.
In addition to the guest speeches, the congress addressed a number of political topics relevant to the youth organisation, including migration policy, the consequences of COVID-related measures, the credibility of political promises, and questions related to human rights and social cohesion. Participants expressed the view that a strong ADRenalin could play an important role in shaping future political developments.
At the closing of the congress, Jang Modert, who served as ADRenalin Secretary General from 2022 to 2024, was officially appointed Honorary Secretary General in recognition of his commitment to the organisation.
The newly elected ADRenalin leadership team was also presented. Maks Woroszylo was elected President, with Kathrin Wolff as Secretary General and Alex Rasquin as Vice-President. The executive committee also includes Kevin Serafini (Treasurer), Sam Delvaux, Gionni Di Rienzo, Alexandra Ellenstein, Laurent Gallinaro, Taylor King, Christophe Künsch, Isam Licina, Yannick Schreiner, Daniel Shelest and Melvin Weiss. Jang Modert will remain associated with the organisation in his role as Honorary Secretary General.
